"Estate Planning for the Non Millionaire" is the title of a seminar I recently presented. The theme of the seminar was the use of a Power of Attorney together with a will to create an efficient estate plan. I developed that seminar in response to the upsurge in the popularity of the "living trust". I write trusts at a fee that is affordable; if you've been to a "living trusts" seminar, you might want to give me a call to discuss what you have heard.
A word of advice, if you own real estate and/or assets approaching $600,000.00 (or over) in value, you need a will or a trust. In addition to the value of your assets, there are many other compelling reasons relating to the distribution of your property at your death for you to have a will or trust.
